I've had a fab week off - out for lunch for the 4th time this week, this time afternoon tea at Seven, at the end of Royal Terrace.

Lovely and unrushed service, views across the Estuary, fantastic food - best traditional afternoon tea I've had in the area by a country mile.

Sandwiches were served separately beforehand, then a nice break before the scones and cakes.

Lol, the cakes were all little morsels apart from the lemon sponge so gone in a couple of forks. When something is that delicious, you don't need a big slab.

And yes, it'll be salads and omelettes next week!
