I once sat opposite Windsor Davies on a tube. Even though you couldn't hear what he was saying, you could still hear that he was saying it with that unmistakable deep Welsh rumble of his.

Every single person in the carriage (since we were all over 25) was ****ing themselves laughing!

I wonder whether anyone under 25 (*) has the faintest idea of who Windsor Davies is...

I'm guessing that song must have had something to with "It Ain't Alf Hot Mum" which was the big BBC sitcom at the MtS was born.

From my childhood I remember Windsor Davies as the voice of the head bot in Terrahawks!
