Thought we could all chip in on X-Mas pressie ideas and recommendations....

Ricky Gervais - Animals (DVD). Quality stand up performance and a very clever script make this (IMO) the pick of the X-Mas stand up vids. Nice change to not see Gervais as Brent on being a complete tit. Nice DVD extras too.

Peter Kay - 'Albert Halls (DVD) - Typical stand up routine. Mostly new material, but for me, you know what you are gonna get with Kay. If you love him, you'll love this. Personally I only really like him in character, though this is amusing in parts.

Bo Selecta 2 (DVD) - Good double disk of the love it or hate it comedy series. Disk 1 is the whole of Season 2 and disk 2 has a nice selection of features including a behind the scenes docu. Didnt have time to listen to the commentary.

Red Hot Chili Peppers - Greatest Hits (CD) - Obviously one for the fans, but as I am one, this is a brilliant CD of the best of the Chilis - including 2 new songs. Highly recommended if only for Under The Bridge and Higher Ground!

I could go on.... but I wont
