There's one line which I won't spoil but it's still making me and the kids chuckle 36 hours later.
Ha! No, just the latest discs from our Cinema Paradiso queue, Carlos the Jackal would be a very different film if it was made by Pixar though! :winking: (and probably better)When you grabbed those three did you think Carlos the Jackal was another pixar type movie about a Jackal from Mexico ?

You have let me down you have let your wife down and you have let yourself down by not saying ARGO FECK YOURSELF.
Agree with this. It's the film equivalent of a big mac. Not particularly filling or nutritious, but every now and again you crave one and it's pretty enjoyable.Olympus has Fallen (2013) Dir: Antoine Fuqua
Put bluntly, this movie is really no more than an amalgamation of Die Hard and Under Siege, with a dash of tub thumping patriotism from Independence Day thrown in for good measure. However, Fuqua has turned the dials up way past 11 in this 140 minute action packed thriller.
Gerard Butler stars as Branning, a former lead secret service agent on the Presidential detail, currently exiled at the Treasury. It doesn’t really matter why the ex US Army Ranger is no longer on the Detail, but it is important that he is on hand to be the proverbial fly in the ointment, McClane/Ryback style, as a group of unknown terrorists attempt to capture the White House as part of a fiendish world domination plot.
If you are into this film genre, then this movie will certainly not disappoint. There is plenty of gun play, fight scenes and explosions to keep the most demanding of aficionados happy. Nonetheless, it does have a few flaws. Despite 18 months away from the White House, Branning can still remember every single code needed to open or access anything he wants. He also appears to be the only government employee allowed to wear a black shirt at work, which is rather handy when he is sneaking around in the dark.
That said, this is a pretty decent film, but perhaps it will never quite become a classic.
Oblivion.
Was looking forward to this one, but wasnt impressed. Ending was awful too.Spoiler:
