Yes,as a wing-back in a team that was being largely overrun,he was primarily a defender. He came in from the wing to meet a near-perfect cross with a near-perfect volley.

Very quiet at the moment. SCP said that he wants two more signings.

Seems like news and rumours have dried up

I wonder if the World Cup, in some strange way, is causing some hesitation for decision makers and some constipation in the transfer market. Pre-season well underway so you would have thought that transfers would be on the move.

It does seem a bit strange given the huge amount of previous activity. Now 5 days without a single signing to our league. Even though you could argue that 8 sides could be viewed as having done most of their business in signing what must be close to a record 65 players, that still leaves the other 75% of clubs of which Barnsley for example have done no business at all, perhaps they follow the Phil Brown bring em in late philosophy

I'm not sure it is a philosophy or even a "school or thought" ....... more a "lifestyle choice". :Madhouse:

The first team squad are training in Spain at the moment. It's not very likely that anything will happen whilst they are still there.

What happened to that ex player we were linked with? Is that dead in the water now. No names were really confirmed in the end.
