We do seem to have a test for "utility" players. There is an argument that what we need is an dedicated , unapologetic, hairy-arsed CF. Not sure that really fits MM style though- and good mobile target men good in the air and on the ground are difficult to find when you are bottom of L2. May MM has looked at it and thinks he can get this guy to focus on playing down the middle.

I would imagine so now that our financial position is much improved.

JW is seen as somebody who is important to have around whether he is fit to play or not. With Lennon out and CB not Dieng's main position, I'd say there is room for Lynch.
