Get over yourself.Let's face it,probably the best career move Barry Corr could possibly make right now, would be to retire(through injury or otherwise).I doubt if he'll ever improve upon his career best haul of 2010/2011.
Having said that, I genuinely wish him well in his fight for full recovery. As I said, I woudn't wish a career threatening injury on him,(or anyone for that matter).

Physician, heal thyself!

Let's face it nobody in League Two improved on Barry Corr's haul of 2010/11.

They should all retire.

Heard a rumour that he had been offered a new one year deal but I don't know how true that is.

Not going to reveal my sources but Chris is making plans to move out of his place he has in town.
Looking unlikely he's going to stay......

Served us well for a couple of seasons during the rebuild (remember it was only this time last year he was voted player of the season!).

However, as previous posters have said he is looking increasingly slow and I think this has hindered the back 4 against teams with quick forwards. If he is going then he goes with my best wishes and thanks, but I won't be losing any sleep over it. I guess this is a bit similar to Craig Easton last season and shows that Luggy has no room for sentimentality in his plans.

Assuming that is Barker its sad to see him go but I dont think he is the player he was the year before. Looks like time has caught up with him if you ask me. Decent player but him and Phillips arent mobile enough and given the choice I would take a fit Mark Phillips all day long.

Mohnsi and Philips might be a decent pairing especially as Mohnsi is capable of passing the ball out of defence rather than lumping it. A more cultured left back would also help in that respect.

According to the Evening Echo ..........

"Club chiefs remain in contract talks with Peter Gilbert, Anthony Grant, Mark Phillips, Luke Prosser, Chris Barker, Jean-Paul Kalala and Christian Dailly."

We either don't want to take up the years option on Kalala's deal (ie. offering him less money) or want to make sure he's happy as a backup. Must be one of those two I'd have thought, otherwise we'd just take up the option. More likely the former.
