A Match for James (Walker)

And so, the day has dawned.....

Damian Scannell and his team of Super Dads are about to embark on their run to Bowers & Pitsea where he then expects to play at least some of the match.

Francis Laurent is safely in a hotel in Southend, Leon Constantine is down also - just not sure of Paul Byrne's whereabouts at this moment in time!

Looking forward to finally getting this match on and having a great day, all for James.

If you can't attend, there's still plenty of time to make a donation, please feel free to share.

Paul Byrne will be hungover somewhere .... that you can be sure of.

Lovely afternoon and a great turnout for James, who kicked the game off.

Great to see some old faces turning out - Royce, Barratt, Maher, Betsy, Grant, Bailey, Laurent, Harrold and Barnard all started - blues 3-0 up midway through the first half, Barnard with the first two and Harrold with a screamer has just scored the third.IMG_3247.jpeg

Amazing! What a turnout from the Southend Legends. Fab afternoon!

SUEPA, you played a blinder!

Some lovely goals, John White's the pick of the bunch, Kev's not too shabby either! And the rest... the boys have still got it!

Big kudos to the Farke Knights, made a game of it 10/10 all round.

Hopefully plenty of funds raised for James, was lovely to see him on the pitch and kicking off. . .

This is what football is about, a community looking after their own!
