All is not lost

True but even if we win at Rochdale, they could overtake us on the last day.

I'm hoping we are safe before the Sunderland game. As it stands now, depending on results 50 points could still see someone down on goal difference
.

Accrington are at Pompey on the last day - Pompey could still be in with a chance of automatic promotion.

If they lose tonight and then against Plymouth they are in trouble. If they beat Plymouth, then Plymouth v Scunthorpe is even bigger!

Like I said on another thread, provided Accrington don't get more than one point against Doncaster and Portsmouth (both away), then given the fact that Accrington have to play Plymouth and Plymouth must play Scunthorpe, means that 50 points and a superior goal difference will almost certainly be enough to take out two of those three, plus Walsall and Bradford. Only if Accrington and Scunthorpe both beat Plymouth (and Scunny beat Bradford), would we need 51 points (and even that assumes Wimbledon getting 6 points in their last 3 games).

So, the safety target : 48 points- unlikely to be enough (2% likely)
49 points- could be enough, but only 20% likely
50 points- most likely (70%)
51 points- unlikely but possible (8% likely)

So a win at Rochdale should more than likely be sufficient although it won't be mathematically confirmed until the following week.
