BOGMISH 1:5 Clinching the title v winning the play-offs

What's the greater moment in Southend history?

A horrible choice; this could easily have been the final. I plumped for Juppy's goal as I went a little more mental than I did for Gray's goal but it's a very close one.

Great memories of both though!

toughest choice ever, went for juppy for the simple reason that it broke the years of krap we as supporters had suffered, back to back relegations, flirting with relegation to the conference etc etc, then along comes juppy to wrap up promotion and end all the suffering..........absolute perfect joygasm

I voted for Wayne Gray's Title Winning Goal...

I wasn't at either of the matches, and whilst getting into league 1 via the play-offs is a massive achievement, Wayne Gray's goal not only promoted us to the Championship as Champions of League 1, it also prevented Col Ewe winning the title over us!

So comparing the two games, Grey's Goal to crown us Champions of League 1, and watching the faces of Colchester fans on the highlights the following day, that's what gets my vote!

Col Ewe only drew on the last day, and we ended up 3 points clear and with a superior Goal Difference, so even if we had lost (by fewer than 11 goals) we would have been Champions.

But that goal wiped away all of Col Ewe's last hopes completely!
I just like the fact that we achieved a higher position than Col Ewe! :D
