.Have a date with THE WATERBOYS at Limerick University tomorrow evening

So there !

Saw Def Leppard at the o2 last night with Cheap Trick supporting. Def Leppard played the whole of the Hysteria album and a couple of their other songs. Fantastic gig shame the venue isn’t the best for music the acoustics aren’t made for a rock band but still brilliant.

Just seen Young Fathers at Brixton Academy. Such a simple and effective set up of song structure and performance and it's totally engaging. I was unaware of them till they won the Mercury but have seen them at every opportunity since and at the end of each I'm looking towards the next. Love em.

Just been to see BEAK, saw Cherry Glazerr on Monday and am seeing King of the Slums after the Charlton match on Saturday. So far my fave gig of the last couple of weeks has been Part Chimp. Any fans of nasty punk, Sabbath or any loud noises should check them out, absolutely ferocious.

Keep up old boy - too much prattling about brexit on here - get your gigs sorted :Winking:

Ha! I alreadypromised two mates in the trio that I'sd be going to their gig-glad I did-otherwise I'd've been more than happy to see Wilko again.Ironically,a harmonica player -who I also know from the British Council-played for the first 25 mins of KGP's set before going to Wilko's gig, which as I said was just a couple of streets away in Poble Nou.Obviuolsy he -goes by the wonderful moniker of Johnny English-was better informed than me.:Winking:

Saw Eric Bibb in a free concert (my favourite kind :Winking: ) in Badalona last night. He just keeps getting better and better.Third time I've seen him but the first ever time he's ever played here in Cataluña.

Took daughter and her boyfriend to see Panic at the Disco in Antwerp last thursday. Well it was very gay but very entertaining and the kids loved it so I was happy. Very good venue, well organized, good security and facilities. Well worth the drive which was uneventful and about £150 cheaper than going to the O2 next week.
