So here we go then chaps , one day to go until another potential classic fight between 2 warriors of the ring , both fantastic at what they do in terms of their own style , Hatton with his all out action / attacking style , he will try and smoother Manny but for me although it pains me to say it , i'm swaying towards Pacman tommow night with his slick , fast hands and bags of stamina, could be a case of Manny boxing Hattons head off all night .

Had a little flutter on him in the 11th and also just to be patriotic i had Hatton in the 8th .

Can't wait for this and i would love to be proved wrong , Hatton is the bigger man so he at least has that advantage ..

Can't see past Pacquiao personally, I think he'll win within 10.

If Hatton can get in close then he's got a great chance, however, if the ref stops him like he did against FMJ then Pacman will dance around him and pick him off.

I'm backing Hatton with some money though as he's good value for someone who's only lost once and never at tomorrow weight.

Also on the undercard is Danny Williams against John McDermott which should be interesting if Williams goes for it.

Heart says Hatton, Head says Pacquiao.

This fight lies on one condition, Pacman's cardio over Hattons... There's always been doubts over Ricky's lifestyle and how it will affect his boxing, and I think coming up against someone with a great engine like FWJ and Pacman has shown it.
That said, I personally think Hatton is the marginally the better boxer, and if Mayweather Snr. has done his work and they've done they're homework on Pacman, He has a good chance of winning.

Hatton in the 9th.

pacman reportedly goes 45 rounds solid in sparring which is absolutly unheard of , so no chance of him running out of steam , also wouldn't say that Hatton is the best boxer as he doesn't throw enough jabs to be called that but what he does he does extremely well

From what I've seen of Pacman, He doesn't really have a Plan B or adjust to fights... He uses his natural game which has been good enough to get him this far.

Hatton did the same, used the game he felt most natural with and it served him well, until FWJ layed him on his arse because Hatton couldn't adapt to having his game suffocated. He's learnt from that occasion and is much the better fighter for it.

Jabs will never be a part of his game though, as he's all about getting inside and wreaking havoc with body shots. Jabs would just keep the other boxer at distance.

pacman will win unfortunately. obviously want hatton but just can't see it happening unfortunately.

anyone got any idea approx what time the actual hatton fight will be starting so i can set my alarm.

About 4am... I'm going for Hatten, this is a big step up for Pacman and once he gets a hatten body shot he will go down.. Hatten to win in round 2.

I'm out in manc for a birthday today, meeting at 3pm to start drinking... the aim is to carry on right through until 5am for the fight!

wish me luck

Just been sent a clip of a typical Talksport listener ringing in.

"Don't you think with they should cancel the Ricky Hatton fight because of the swine flu?"

"Why?"

"Well, all those Mexicans coming across the border."

"Pacquiao comes from The Phillippines."

Sound of phone hanging up.
