If we don't become involved now then when do we?

Isn't this thread just a little off-topic?

#barnabluegetsitrightforonce

Please feel free to start a new 9/11 conspiracy thread, but this one should be focused on what should/could be done about those cockwombles at ISIS.

I always liked the suggestion in a Viz letter once upon a time. Nuke the whole of the Middle East, which would turn all the sand in to glass. You could ski around it on velvet covered skis and find oil just by looking down.

On Topic.

We are involved. RAF are risking their lives; as are probably Special Forces.

In light of their endeavors we all need to be solid with them; and the UK Gov needs to stop fudging and half measures/hand tying rules of engagement stuff and send every plane and bomb we can to destroy the bunch of murderous war lords of IS.

'cockwombles' was enough but the Viz reference topped it off. Have a green.

A new thread for all this 9/11 stuff is essential, and transfer it from this now almost defunct thread.
And my question for all you conspiracy people is this: " do you really expect the authorities will allow all facts and intelligence to be open sourced and jeopardise agents, sources, security and on going interests?"
I hope all will no the answer to this is a big NO and then you can get on with the Kennedy murder and UFOs.

IS is real and present danger.

All 9/11 posts moved to new thread.

Nice one, back on topic, lets keep it like that.

So, Kennedy being murdered by UFO's, who wants to kick us off ?

As much as I loathe the rag, good to see The Sun getting involved in denouncing ISIS and not falling into blatant Islamophobia.

Sadly, most of the issues with IS are the fault of western powers and the complete lack of understanding about the middle east. It is western policy that has created the vacuum in which extremists thrive. Whether it be the Taliban, IS, Al Queda or some other emerging faction in Africa, Indonesia or elsewhere. Dropping bombs is not going to achieve any long lasting peace, at some point there will have to be negotiation because Islamic fundamentalism is not going to disappear, no one has enough bullets for that. It is all very well taking a hard line stance to save political face but dialogue is the only way it will be sorted out and despite the apparent intransigence that IS have shown, there will emerge a line of negotiation, if not directly then through some intermediary. A form of caliphate is what they desire and no amount of bombs will deny that urge. The key will lay with Iran and Saudi Arabia, the rest of the created nations in the region are bit part players.Jaw jaw etc.

Well bearing in mind Saudi Arabia are highly suspected of funding IS who like the Saudi's are Sunni muslim and Iran, although not directly involved, loathe IS bearing in mind Iranians are Shia muslim, perhaps shows a little understanding of middle eastern issues.

This is absolutely correct IMO.

Yer, all very well but can you "jaw jaw" with an enemy that's so rooted in the stone age that all they want is the total and utter destruction of the West and all it stands for?

As some in the west wish for their total and utter destruction, neither ideal will happen. The whole situation is steeped in grey and those looking for black and white answers will be forever frustrated and this comes full circle to my original point, the west created the vacuum through its black and white approach. Remember G W Bush. 'Your either with us or against us'. Simplistic but so wide of the mark.

In all fairness mate, I believe this goes slightly further back in time than George Dubbaya

It certainly does go way back before George, way back in the mists of time but there there were many more influences that were allowed a voice and therefore negotiation was always in place, fragmented and often unsatifactory but always ongoing but when Georgey boy uttered those words he started something new, he upped the game and took swaythes of those voices, completely out of circulation.

If we could defeat the Nazis, we can defeat this shower of ****. All that is required is some will. Stop ****ing about with rules of engagement and play the game by their rules. A few Apache Indian lookalikes aren't going to stand up to too much shock and awe.

Rubble doesn't cause trouble.

Shock and awe didnt work last last time round did it. Its a simplistic solution to a complex problem and ultimately ineffective, the middle east is a social construct built on compromise and brokered by european powers and holds no comparison with Nazi Germany, that situation was far more straight forward. If a few bombs and bullets would solve the problem I would have little moral objection if it were for the greater good, however, the problem is here to stay until talks take place or the money runs out or the oil or the will or the amunition or indeed the people to kill. The creation of a waste land creates yet another vacuum for extremists to thrive.
