Just got Russell Kane to retweet to his 85,000 followers, asking them to get to the game tomorrow night.

If anyone knows any local/non local celebs etc that they can get to promote the game, then please do so. Stan Collymore on twitter? Andy Ansah? Alison Moyet? Terry Alderton? Lee Evans? Phil Jupitus? etc....Or if anyone can somehow send a message to the people of Southend, then please do so. Anyone friendly with Southend/Essex Radio and can get a little free plug for the game?

Ticket sales aint going that great by all accounts. Better than normal, but by no means a massive improvement. Obviously the marketing budget has been cut. So this is where we need to step in and help promote the game....

Yep. Just been down the ticket office. Two for £9.50 lovely jubbly!

Ticket sales just over the 5,000 mark inc Seaso's at present. So it will be the biggest gate thus far. Around 400 of those are part of the Sun promotion. So should be good for 6,000+ inc Shrewsbury and on the day purchases.
