Ingram falls 12 short of a debut ton, but we should get 270 from here.

Great partnership from these 2 for Mrs BB, looking at 280+
DIBS DIPPERS v Seaside Special

Seaside Special won the toss and elected to field.
Pitch: Dusty

End of Over 42: 233-2, runrate=5.55
Carty 6-0-26-0
Tyson* 118 (123 balls)
Hutton 81 (98 balls)

Another below par score for me.

End of Over 44: 195-4, runrate=4.43
Motterham 7-0-34-1
Pembridge* 60 (85 balls)
Keigher 16 (26 balls)

Last Wicket: Wilkinson b. Mean 35 (FOW: 158/4)

Not seen this one before!

45.2 1 Digana to Forster
Quick single, nicely run by Forster. He's one part whippet, that man. By that I mean he's fast, of course, not that he has undescended testicles which I understand is common in that breed. Though if he gets hit in the box, he may be two parts whippet.

Happy with this score. Centuries for Tsietsi and Dowe. I assume 274 is above par for a cracked pitch, but on a sunny day I'm not so sure - any thoughts?

End of Over 50: 274-2, runrate=5.48
Windsor 10-0-64-0
Davenport* 11 (9 balls)
Raisani 19 (12 balls)
Last Wicket: Dowe b. Burns 134 (FOW: 244/2)

End of Over 50: 191-2, runrate=3.82
Mbata 10-0-49-0
Elford* 101 (147 balls)
Tindall 9 (12 balls)

Last Wicket: Grahame c. Waterhouse b. Richardson 68 (FOW: 169/2)

Im delighted with that!

I thought I didn't recognise that wage when I looked through their squad. What's his batting level?

An early wicket for debutant Shipp.

6.2 W Shipp to Dunne
Man alive. A firm drive stopped by a firm dive. Superbly caught by Askari.
6.1 . Shipp to Dunne
Dunne spots the slower delivery and lets it go through to Pembridge.

End of Over 6: 20-1, runrate=3.33, reqrunrate=4.93 (236-6)
Varney 3-0-11-1
Dunne* 13 (17 balls)
Lunt 0 (2 balls)

Last Wicket: Fitzhenry c. Pembridge b. Varney 6 (FOW: 20/1)

I'd normally be quite excited about this start, but this just gets their two best batsmen in earlier. Still required rate is now over 5. I'll have a couple of overs trying to get one of these two out, then hope I can keep it tight.

Really could do with a wicket here

End of Over 19: 85-2, runrate=4.47, reqrunrate=4.90 (236-6)
Mcintosh 3-0-8-0
Nosworth* 31 (32 balls)
Lunt 30 (46 balls)

Last Wicket: Dunne c. Askari b. Shipp 13 (FOW: 20/2)

Not chasing well. Need a partnership sharpish, looks like we're going to pay for not taking out their final partnership quicker. We're 15 behind where they were at this stage.

End of Over 22: 84-3, runrate=3.82, reqrunrate=5.14 (227-6)
Ul-hameed 6-1-15-2
Wanless* 1 (3 balls)
Lamey 25 (49 balls)

Last Wicket: Mcleod lbw b. Ul-hameed 16 (FOW: 83/3)

Exquisite / Wonderful I think, but he never played to an Exquisite level. And you've got him out I see....

RRR starting to creep up, but the Strong still has 6 overs to bowl.

BATTY SHRIMPERS v Red Herrings

Red Herrings won the toss and elected to field.
Pitch: Cracked

End of Over 29: 140-2, runrate=4.83, reqrunrate=6.29 (271-3)
Begg 8-0-40-0
Khulelaphi* 67 (76 balls)
Bvunzawabaya 58 (86 balls)

Last Wicket: Morrison c. Evelyn b. Job 11 (FOW: 18/2)

Mrs BB's 3 spinners doing a pretty good job.

DIBS DIPPERS v Seaside Special

Seaside Special won the toss and elected to field.
Pitch: Dusty

End of Over 29: 147-2, runrate=5.07, reqrunrate=5.95 (271-5)
Lock 8-0-36-1
Sinethemba* 88 (93 balls)
Barnard 10 (12 balls)

Last Wicket: Prasad lbw b. Lock 8 (FOW: 111/2)

RRR increasing steadily here, Abbas is the only batsman I expect to keep up with it, so he's the key wicket.

End of Over 30: 139-3, runrate=4.63, reqrunrate=6.80 (274-2)
Blaney 5-0-24-0
Branson* 2 (6 balls)
Abbas 75 (86 balls)
Last Wicket: Stewart b. Parry 12 (FOW: 122/3)

Just about keeping with the run rate. Lamey is crawling along, hope we don't have the usual 30-40 over barren spell.

End of Over 30: 119-3, runrate=3.97, reqrunrate=5.45 (227-6)
Ul-hameed 10-1-33-2
Lamey* 36 (64 balls)
Wanless 25 (36 balls)

Last Wicket: Mcleod lbw b. Ul-hameed 16 (FOW: 83/3)

Ok, as I type:

30.2 W Kingsberry to Lamey
The batsmen have collided mid-pitch. Plenty of time for the bowler to whip off the bails as a disappointed Lamey departs.

Could be good, could be bad. Sandy is attacking but my weakest front line bat. Can't afford to lose him quickly but can't afford the run rate to creep any further.

Kingsberry is their weakest bowler as well, grrrr.

Picked up a crucial wicket a few overs ago but Nosworthy keeps on hitting the first ball of the over for 6.

Will need to get him out.

32.1 6 Mcintosh to Nosworth
He's flashed at it and it's gone over third man.

End of Over 32: 145-3, runrate=4.53, reqrunrate=5.11 (236-6)
Askari 6-0-32-0
Nosworth* 56 (61 balls)
Riddell 2 (13 balls)

Last Wicket: Lunt b. Mcintosh 62 (FOW: 134/3)
