Breaking News Spaniard on Trial

Can find very little about him on the internet so guess he has been plying his trade at a some very low level - but he is tall.

Just asked one of the guys at work whos a Dunfermline seaso. Says he is very much in the Phil Whelan mould, big strong, dominant in the air. Also says he speaks perfect english, enjoys the music of Mozart and Steps and is a keen amateur photographer.

He has to be the most impossible player to find info on!

Was he playing for a park side in Argentina or something!?

Fingers crossed Tilly has unearthed a gem...

Defensores de Belgrano are a football club from the Nuñez district in Buenos Aires, Argentina. They currently play in Primera B Metropolitana, which is the regionalised third tier of the Argentine Football Association.

The club have not played in the top flight of Argentine football since the professional era begun, although they did spend a number of seasons in the Primera during the Amateur era before 1931.

Martin Camaño (Tortón)

What can do Gallego just arrived at White Bay? To borrow a Tarjebus, to take the 14 or the 17 and to lower in center. Good, we do not know if exactly it were not what happened to Martin Camaño, but we must either be so far from the reality. Surely one became bored to walk by O' Higgins, Donated, Chiclana and Sarmiento, until giving with soothes of Mount Olympus. And there history began.

It came to play little in the Elche (2002/03) and did not bring too many antecedents, except for the recommendation of Oscar Ore, that celebrated of companion and host during its demurrage. In January of 2004 the Spanish did the preseason with the set aurinegro in Madryn Port, next to Jorge Vivaldo, Mauro Laspada, Gustavo Bordicio, the Crazy person I lasted, Javier Mazzoni, Mauritius Hanuch and he cheeps to which all saluted in French, Martin Bonjour.

Just by 18 years, Camaño tried to adapt to South American soccer but he was not to him simple. In July of that year it returned to his country and fichó for the Albacete (2004 to 2006), where they did not give too much capacity and ended up him acting for Albacete B. in a forum of the club a fan Even remembered that it only cheeps played to pay favors to the father. We prefer not to continue investigating.

With an evil it passes to Dunfermline of Scotland and many other frustrations in its knapsack, happened to the FC Cartagena (2006/07), where we thought that one would retire of the activity. But no.

In July of this year it reappeared in the Argentina and being useful that somebody invented that it was marking power station of Real Madrid B, was added to the Hurricane training of Patricios Park, under the technical manual of Claudius Úbeda.
Judging by how the defense of the Globe plays, they were very bad in not approving its hiring.

He's had hurricane training, which is obviously why the club have decided that the Canvey game is the one to play him in.

From all the evidence gathered in this thread I think we can safely say that we have a real prospect on our hands. There must be thousands of clubs in the lower reaches of regional leagues across Europe and South America competing for his signature. I can only imagine the mountains that Ron et al must have moved to get him here.

Thanks Naps - Now it all becomes clear ???

Got some duff info earlier.

He was actually a youngster at Real Madrid, turning out for their C and B teams aged 17.

Moved to a club in Argentine lower leagues after that but it didn't move out.

Then moved back to Spain in 2004 to play for Albacete B and impressed before getting a few run outs with their first team.

Left Albacete due to lack of opportunities (?) and joined Dunfermline on trial, impressing enough to be given a contract as 'one for the future'. Left a while after the manager who signed him left.

Went back to another club in Argentina where he's been plaing for the last 2 and a half years.

Now finds himself here on trial.

Do you know whether he's been playing much for his team in Argentina?

Everywhere I look seems to have different info on him.

Seems as though he hasn't actaully been in Argentina for a while and actually played for C.F. Fuenlabrada in Spain's Third Division last season, and for Cartagena in the Second Division before that.

Would make more sense since he flew here from Madrid I guess.

Perhaps he did go back to Argentina after Dunfermline but then returned to Spain shortly after that, where he played for Cartagena and Fuenlabrada for the last few seasons.

I see. Cheers.

Spain's Third Division? What are we talking about here then, Conference standard?

Erm, which Cartagena did he play for?

FC Cartagena or Cartagena FC?
