The word going around was that he fell out with Ron Martin immediately after taking up the managers adviser post. That's why he only lasted about 2 games. I wonder if it was to do with money.

I heard he went because RM had told him he had paid all the players up to date and when Webby found out this wasn't true so he walked away.

Anyway back on topic I never thought RM would have the nuts to do it - its gonna be a ****storm for RM to deal with now. And for the love of God please don't give the job to Atkins or Martin Allen.

Would be nice if we did something to say thank you to tilly. he didnt deserve any of this. i no his interviews were **** and his subs could be questioned but he was southend through and through.
