It could be the opportunity for that every Blues fan dreams of ; with potentilly just nine fit players available for the Scottland tour, the word reaching me from sources close to the club is that able-bodied Blues supporters will be requested to take their boots with them for the forthcoming tour.

Apparantly, PS will organise a pre-match kick about and fans who can head, trap and pass a ball will stand to be selected, provided they can stay sober for 90 minutes.

Seven players are set to leave RH this week and it is doubtful that replacements will be signed in time.

Ron Martin's spin man, Tara Brady is expected to dismiss this as malicious, vicious rumour-mongering of the worst kind, however the club is yet to issue any official comment.

However it is thought likely that the following players will not travel:

Craig Easton - Likely to depart and hates Scottland

Barry Corr -wanted by Orient who don't want him to risk injury

Blair Sturrock - has fallen out with the manager, who refused to let him borrow his car for a weekend away

Anthony Grant - wanted by C**chester and is sensitive to midges

Kane Ferdinand - will be on international duty

Neil 'Bomber' Harris who has a septic toe following an injury sustained during an ill-advised spot of winkling with his son, Jack, during the recent spell of fine weather.

Any fans who are interested in taking part in a pre-tour training camp should in the first instance register their interest by sending their details to PaulS@iwannaplayforthebluesinscottland.co.uk

I think this is just a ploy to :

A) Get more fans north of the border

B) Get people to stay sober

Could be, Tommy.

Especially as I forgot to mention that fans will need to be wearing a voltage cherry shirt.

He's gone, get over it.

This thread is 99% accurate, the only inaccuray is in the title - it should have read 'Take your kilt to Scotland'. Due to financial pressures the club are short of shorts and players will have to play in kilts (ideally one in cherry voltage tartan)

Update - looks like Bomber's toe is on the mend but please pack your kit (and your kilts) just in case
