Just herd Tara Brady on talksport. The initial purpose of the interview was re his boxing etc. They then went on to talk about SUFC. I seriously love this guy. He is so positive about everything to do with the club, from the players, PS, the fans and more improtantly the new ground etc.

He said that the squad was in very good shape and all players buy into what is trying to be achieved. Said that its not all about the players, but the club as a whole, the support they offer players, the man management, the support team and said that the whole club had a very positive feel about it etc.

Mentioned Saturdays game as well, bit of extra PR. Talksport also referred to him as the owner!!! Have i missed something?

Did he say why work will not be starting on the new ground in October?

Thats funny, didnt the Sun refer to him as the owner last Saturday?

All he said was that work was very very close to starting and understood the fans frustration. To be honest as much as i respect Brady, i wouldnt have expected him to say anything else. He did say that things were moving in the right direction and that redevloping Roots Hall was an option, not that any of us thought that might be.

Sorry my fault. Yes he said NOT AN OPTION, although this was an answer to a question asked. He never would have mentioned Roots Hall had he not been asked. He was talking about FF and they just said what about Roots Hall etc

That makes more sense lol.

A new stadium would not be possible without money made from Roots Hall.

How many times have we heard this? I'm getting fed up with club officials saying how close we are to work on FF starting.
