To the unitiated JCR might have appeared to have had a decent game - busy and industrious as usual.  But, where was the end product?  Where were the crosses?  He flits all over the place destroying the balance and shape of the team.

With the acres of space we had on the left wing in the second half he should have been giving the right back nightmares.  Instead he generally remained in the middle third doing his little tricks to no effect.  In contrast, in the 8 minutes Cole was on he was playing up against the full back and put in one excellent cross which was more than JCR did all game.

Flatters to deceive would be how I'd sum JCR up.  Let's hope he comes good like Gutts did.
