The Evening was a total success.

We managed to lose Scott within minutes of entering the Stadium (always a plus point) and were welcomed by the home crowds rendition of "Green Army" by the packed East stand. ( I have no idea what that was about).

It was nice for the Trialist from Charlton to have a nickname within 2 seconds of touching the ball as CSJ (The Cabbie) screamed ."Go On Staunty".Callan and myself just looked at each other in total bewilderment. Fortunately he reserved his better callings for Lewis Hunt with "Man on" every time a ball was within 60 feet of him and Jcr during his Maiden Boxing debut with .."Get him in the Car park afterwards".

It was nice to bump into a few familar faces...South Bank Hank ..once again having a 3 foot tier of Burgers in his hand ( How Unusual) and Ricey.

Special commendation has to go out to Ricey at this point for taking his Daughter to a football match and for wearing a Pink shirt..:p

Unfortunately Scott managed to catch us up in the pub afterwards and recalled his days as a "stud" and has a fond affection for Peter Stringfellow apparently. We were busy counting the footballs we had collected from outside the Stadium at the time so we basically ignored him.

Oh! There was also a game on which by any standards didnt add up to much but was a "Fun" evening.

Nice to see the Blues back.
