is the away end covered? my instinct tells me no...
it is mostly covered however there are massive gaps at the back of the seated stand. its more like scaffolding with a tin cover.is the away end covered? my instinct tells me no...
It should be. The temperature has risen, so a frozen pitch shouldn't be involved. 14 degrees in Ruislip now. It sounds like it could be very windy, but they won't postpone due to the wind speed expected tonight. Will this be on?
The rain is the only concern weather wise, they’ve had multiple games called off for a waterlogged pitch. It should be. The temperature has risen, so a frozen pitch shouldn't be involved. It sounds like it could be very windy, but they won't postpone due to the wind speed expected tonight.
I didn't mention the rain, as apart from this morning, they are meant to have the odd light shower today. Nothing that would waterlog a pitch. Tonight is meant to be windy, cloudy, and mild. The rain is the only concern weather wise, they’ve had multiple games called off for a waterlogged pitch.
Assuming their pitch is playable in April. That’s now our last 3 away games in 8 days a busy week for the team
Waterlogged pitch today - again - FA Trophy will have to move other fixturesAssuming their pitch is playable in April.
And the rearranged one for tonight has gone too !Waterlogged pitch today - again - FA Trophy will have to move other fixtures

I can see that shifting to Hendon's 3G at some stage.

They should have some sort of punishment but unlikely NL will doThey should be getting sanctioned. They have cancelled about 8+ games this season. Their ground isn't fit for purpose
They're moving grounds so doubt we'll see any work on itThey should be getting sanctioned. They have cancelled about 8+ games this season. Their ground isn't fit for purpose
They've got some plans for a new ground but they've not even applied for planning permission yet so it's a few years off yet... and if Barnet get permission and start on their ground they might even end up in the Hive. Nevertheless in the meantime they are at Grosvenor Vale for the next few seasons; they'd do well to stick in a 3G pitch or at least redo their drainage so they don't have to call off matches every time it rains for more than ten minutes. They're moving grounds so doubt we'll see any work on it
