What have you watched on TV?

Finished watching The English, and it was an okay to middling, grittier western.
The main heroine had, then incurable, syphilis.
Research has it that this VD was widely known as the French Disease, and widely spread by French soldiers! Quelle surprise!

Please can you put a link in for this.
Sorry beyond my powers.Though I'm sure some techo can oblige. :Winking:

Just go to Tina Turner on playback for Xmas Day on BBC2 and you'll find a few programmes there. The early ones are good.I'd avoid the Amdsterdam concert (filmed in the 90's I think ) I switched that off after a couple of numbers.Saw her here in 1979 with Grumpy Blue and our respective wives and also a couple of times in the 80's when she was still doing a good show. After that she became a bit of a parody of herself,IMO.

Thanks for the imformation.

Finally got round to cracking through The Office the US one. Brilliant, I’m on season 6. Once you get past the awful episodes that mimic the UK version it’s brilliant! Some excellent characters. Creed and Kevin are absolute gold! Michael’s hatred of Toby always cracks me up.
