Waiting to purchase a house that had two probates. Had to wait for the first one to be done (completed in september) and now waiting for this one.
Partners Mum died mid Nov ( 95), partner sole executor & benefactor of the house, which her late parents had lived in since 51.
Had so many documents/ deeds etc going back to 1904 when it was built it was unreal. So went to Solicitor to get probate, as much quicker than us sorting through everything. They sent all relevant forms & documentation off on 12th Dec & advised us it would probably take 2 months to be granted.
Lo & behold, it was granted within 10 days, must be a new record!.

Seeing Espanyol play last night -my first live football this year. Not many teams could get a draw out of a game they looked like winning -when they went ahead in the 75th minute, for what would have been their second home win of the season!

That is quick. Last we heard was that they have had to submit a paper copy rather than a digital copy due to some background which means the case is sent to Newcastle, they are working through cases that were submitted early August so they are running a couple months behind. The probate was sent to them in October. Sellers solicitors are continuing to chase but its out of their hands, they last chased on 3rd Jan. Being a couple of months behind this would bring the probate to the end of Feb. The solicitor are hopeful that they worked through their Christmas break and didn't shut down so that they can catch up but doubt it.

Prince Harry. No brain again. Claiming to have killed 25 Taliban whilst serving in the British Army. Not only is it tasteless, and not a thing to make public when you're high profile, and a Royal by name. But it's also put him at risk, and his family and those that are anywhere near him. You'd better double your security Harry.
Where is Oliver Cromwell when you need him

Nottingham Forest flying to Blackpool. Only a 135 miles FFS......get an e-coacb with all their money.

Didn't Liverpool get lambasted for taking something like a 10/20 minute flight somewhere not that long ago?

They certainly and quite rightly did.

Forest have just extended a deal with E.on to promote climate awareness as well as their shirt sponsor UNHCR who are promoting climate issues with refuges.
