Not many reasons why they shouldn't have a crack. Unless they want their reputation well and truly trashed within a few months.

Get them in now. I always wondered why they didn't move their families to Huddersfield. That was certainly the plan when they left Lincoln.
They both love a "project". Can Ron convince them with plans for the new stadium?!
Highly unlikely but a return to their Essex roots might be tempting.
Although they were both on huge wages at Huddersfield though (£750k each per season), money never had been their motivating factor.

For us maybe but I see no reason why they'd want to come here. Everyone, including their own fans, seem baffled that they've been sacked given that Huddersfield were odds on favourites for relegation when they took over, they've overachieved by keeping them up. i don't think their stock will have fallen so much from this that they'd need to consider dropping into League 2.

Nicky Cowley spoke very well of Ron when I spoke to him in my local coop 18 months ago!
Both West Ham fans but that wouldn't bother me one bit.
Well, if they are OK with Ron and are looking for a challenge.............I wouldn't say no! They've certainly proved themselves in League Two and of course, if things went tits up next season they got Lincoln out of the National League! :Hilarious: :Winking: Having said that, I really don't believe, for a minute, that it will happen.
