Why wait to start a new club?

Begs an interesting question though. As others have said a phoenix club will never be the same. Whilst people rarely change their allegiances from their club, if it no longer exists I wonder how many fans would start supporting a phoenix versus maybe adopting their second club as their new one.

As you say an interesting question?
I for one don't have a second team and am glad not too as makes watching prem games non stressful.
My passion for a phoenix club I feel would take years to build and probably more than I have left (but with nothing else would give it a go).
I could see myself going down the route of a friend of mine and following England, although costs him an absolute fortune (He has no club team).
