Question Will you attend the first two home games?

Are you attending?

  • Yes, I'm going regardless.

  • No, not until Ron has completely gone.

  • Not sure, need more info from club on sale process.

But a lot of people won't see boycotting as a way to support the Club.

Any player and coach who is still at the Club in three weeks deserves a full-house to thank them IMO.

Again, I completely get why many will not want to go and I completely support their choice but that's not personally for me.
Sure, I’m not here to argue that everyone should see it my way. I’m just done with it all. I think the management and fans would totally understand if a coordinated boycott was put in place and recommended by the supporters groups.

I won’t go, until that Rat, Ron Martin go, for now, I watch my new adopted club, AFC Sudbury, at least they don’t get dragged to court, not under embargos etc

Great message to the potential buyer(s). Well if that’s the level of fans’ support why are we bothering?
Well from the figures so far I think its a clear message to any buyers (That may also be watching).

DO NOT include Ron Martin in your plans for the club. Short or long term. If you do, be prepared for massively reduced crowds and a greater need for you to dig deep into those pockets.

If the club is alive me and my son will be there for the opening two games. If the game is on it means some players have amazingly stuck around and / or new players have signed (whether loans or whatever) and they’ll be getting our support. I’ll spend 90% of the game willing the team forward and the other 10% willing Ron out if he is still there. Ultimately it’s the team I support not the owner, so they’ll still get my backing. 👍

There's no option there that suits me. I can't make the 19th as we're away. I'm completely undecided for the 5th, although I might prefer to watch my son play cricket.

Feel a bit stupid for it but already purchased a season ticket. So even if I don’t go that won’t mean much considering I’ve already handed over the money
See I don’t understand that, you are going for Southend not Ron after all.

If things are still up in the air come start of the season them players are going to need all of us

Was bad enough the season we fell out the league we could not be there to push the lads on

If we are still in the league then I will go, I go to watch a game of football and cheer the players on, also any player and staff that has stayed deserve a big crowd to be shown there appreciation. I get the vote with your feet, but there's been many protests, on the pitch, through the streets outside Ron's house etc... Yet he is still here, it's clearly obvious he is only benefiting himself and he wont care if the stadium is empty or not, but for me the players don't deserve an empty stadium they need to be shown appreciation

I get this viewpoint, but I don't see it that way personally.

The players and staff aren't going to be sat there if the ground is 1/3 full and think "ah Southend fans don't care anymore". If there's an official boycott it'll show we care more about the future of the club than enjoying 90 minutes of entertainment.
