Ant from across the Pond
Hi folks,
Just in need of a little advice. There's been a couple of cars knicked from around where we live, and the Uni itself recently - And last night as I was slowly driving out of our small residential area, two ***** ran up, punched in my back window, tried to punch in my sunroof window, and tried to open my drivers door to get entry (luckily my drivers door handle is broken, so they couldn't get in). Came out of nowhere really, and I was quite shocked by it. Once I heard the smash I obviously stepped on the accelerator and drove off (this was at 2am, not a soul around to see what happened).
We live across the street from the Uni nightclub, and until we leave this apartment in May, I'm always a bit wary of some drunken **** coming around and trying to break into some of the cars on our street. Was thinking of getting either a steering wheel lock, or one of those locks that goes around the handbrake and gear stick. Which one would be more secure? I heard one was easier to break through than the other...
The car is only an old 1997 Peugeot 106, and I can't really afford to put an alarm system or anything like that on her.
Thanks for your help.
