Well it seems we can also take advantage of the season ticket offer which is excellent news!
3 coaches coming so far but there should be a 4th one laid on, plenty doing the train journey so I would say 600 is a fair guess.

A coach holds about 50 people. So four coaches is about 200. That means that another 400 will be travelling by train/car? Is that realistic? I certainly hope so, the more the merrier, but I'm not sure it is.

got to agree about the boozers. If you want somewhere with decent beer try the Old Trout, about 15 minutes walk from the ground. It does get quite a few post match SUFC but I have seen guys in colours from visiting clubs in there before with no problems. If you want to try it walk back into town until you reach Victoria Circus at the top of the High Street. Using WH Smith a landmark turn right and walk up London Road you will see the Old Trout on your left opposite Sainsburys.

At least try to get down to the front Phil. if all your son gets to see is Prittlewell on his day out then a visit from social services is in order. Sorry to say but Southend is poxy for boozers and if you had the time I would tell you to go to Leigh.
Safe journey mate.

Totally realistic, we have a healthy exiles group too.

If any are bringing young kids, there's a free firework display down the seafront about 7.30pm, Phil. Hopefully, after we've rocketed to the next round :winking:

would the club be doing 2 mins silence before the game?? as its the closest home to Remembrance Sunday??

Southend have quite rightly made quite a big deal of our game nearest to Remembrance Sunday for a few seasons now. So they will almost certainly have 2 mins silence, but not heard if we will have the full parade as per previous seasons?

We are heading straight back after the match mate, enjoy being in the next round fella :whistling::whistling::whistling:

Had a rethink and for £6 for me and the boy, I couldn't turn it down. Plus if the South ends up being opened, I can move there apparently
