Prosser. Totally consistent. The only leader we have. Puts his body in the line. Should be in the team now( yes we haven't conversed, but that's more luck than judgement imo). We missed him more than any other player who has not been available to play. The most obvious future captain. The most improved player. A far better player than many give him credit for

This..... The three players who have 'wanted it the most' consistently all this season imo.

1 Prosser
2 Coker
3 Leonard

Difficult to separate Coker and Leonard. Think by a whisker it has to be Ryan Leonard from Ben Coker. In third it has to be Will Atkinson a player who is always missed when not playing.

Not by me he isn't!Actually he has only failed to appear in 1 of our 40 league matches, though in 3 of them he appeared as sub after about an hour.He has amassed 2 goals and run around a lot.

It has to be Coker. Most hungry all season, best consistency, sound in defence and going forward - a real asset for us.

Lenny has been brilliant, and deserves second place. If it wasn't for Coker's outstanding form all season, the title would be his.

Third is tricky, as there's many contenders: White has been an excellent leader; Prosser has come on leaps and bounds to be our rock at the back; Hurst's early-season form had us all drooling; Bentley and his clean sheet record is phenomenal. Timlin (although people may disagree) has put in a fantastic shift all season, and despite some slightly iffy distribution, has been everywhere when we needed him. With a bit more work on his distribution, he could really be our midfield maestro.

However, third place for me is Bentley. Full of confidence, a sublime record of clean sheets for his debut full season, and with a bit of work on his kicking, will become one of SUFC's all-time great keepers. All at the age of 20 years.

A special mention should be made for PB, who has worked wonders with some of our players. Sure, the slump was very tricky to live with, but the confidence he has instilled in the players throughout the season is the foundation on which we are basing this debate on. So a tip o' the cap to you, Mr Brown. Thank you for proving me wrong, and long may the progression continue. Now, if only you're correct on FF being started next month.....

Isn't it great that there are so many players to chose from. When did it last happen that there were so many contenders?

Sorry, but I cant see anyone other than Bentley. Our goals against is the joint lowest in the League. every week this Kid (he's only 20 remember) is pulling off top class saves to keep us in games or preserve our leads. How many pens has he saved this season?
He is realistically the only player we have that will command anything more than a nominal fee. Watch the bids come in in the summer.
Sure, players like Leonard, Coker, Prosser have performed very well but Bentley performs consistently well week-in, week-out, hardly any rickeys and easily outnumbered by the number of top saves he's made. Goalkeeps dont always get the recognition of outfield layers but this lad is going places.
