Supposedly the away end holds 2,400 - unless that is a fiction (as ground capacities often are) we have a way to go yet. Given the 4,769 total capacity that half the ground. If they average 1,500 and the home capacity is just under 2,400 as well, and allowing for Good Friday this has the makings of a very full ground...

If on the rare occasion that segregation is in force then visiting fans are allocated the Swanscombe End. This terrace is of a good size, is fairly steep and has recently had new crowd barriers installed upon it. It has a capacity of just under 2,400 supporters.

I can remember going to the game at Dover so many Southend turned up the queue was so long we ended up throwing our money into a bucket . ( lol )

That was quite amusing as it was pay on the gate. I had gone for a couple at the rugby club and got to the ground quite early and there was already a bit of a queue- the look on their faces when we said we were bring a couple of thousand- they were convinced we were joking..then you could see it dawning on them that perhaps we weren't...they really had no idea..
