My Uncle owned and ran one of the butcher's shops down there for while and I've also got fond memories of Hamstel Video too. Never really thought about it before but when you do it is a cracking road!

Cracking road and not a road-train in sight.

I work in the chemist in Hamstel Road and its a great road to work in you see all aspects of life and meet some great people even been known to meet some of the players getting their prescriptions dispensed but thats another story ( not really) it was just Mark Rawle with his asthma and for some reason Tes Bramble spent a fortune on Lynx deod.

Peters The Green Grocers in Southchurch road. Used to be run by a regular on the North Bank. Sadly he died a few years back, but I still see his son at games and occasionally his widow too
