He is strong and will command the back line like a lion if that's what he is asked to do. He played through some injuries last year when he shouldn't have. He lost his place when Ross Embleton wanted to copy Barcelona with the ultra possession game. Coulson can play well enough but that is not his forte. He gets lots of goals from set pieces. I'm sorry to see him go, I'd much rather he stayed and you took the hapless Happe.

My Orient supporting mate said much the same but didn't think he suited L2 as much as the VNL.
Will be good if we finally have a central defender who can get on the end of a few crosses and add to our goals tally.

Perhaps we are seeing the impact of a CEO who knows how to handle contracts with incentives, rather than an owner who doesn't.

Sounds like an excellent signing who won't be a shrinking violet in the dressing room either.
