Im suprised I havent seen any other mention of it on here  but Tilly was on talkSPORT  on the sportsbreakfast with Alan Brazil and Beaky yesterday { Monday} morning.  It wass quite a lengthy interview with Tilly but 3  things stuck in my memory that i wish to relay to SZ                                      No. 1     Alan Brazil was talking about the Prem Clubs interest in Gutts and asked   Tilly what he thought of Southends chances of keeping hold of him ,  Tilly answered quite emphatically and almost indignantly  that   Gutts will NOT be going anywhere "simple as that "   cant remember the exact words but it was along the lines of " we signed him from Cambridge , gave him his chance , which he has taken so far ' he is an important player for our future and he aint goin nowhere pal !!!!                                                           No 2.    He said that" Ron Martin is working night and day , everyday to get us a new stadium"  and that " we will need a new stradium next season if we are promoted to the championship to keep  the Club growing  as we have a big catchment area                                                          No.3     Tilly is a big England fan and was out in Portugal 2004 in that capacity ( along with me and 39.998 others }  and he hoped to be supporting England out in Germany this year as long as there isnt too much trouble.                                 Steve Tilson   you are the mutts nuts   mate and we luv ya .  Long may you reign over us .
