so, is he fun or not?

At first I thought he was funny, then I decided he wasn't (and instead was just annoying), but then I watched some more of him and found him pretty decent. It seems quite popular to hate him just because he's on TV all the time (similar to the Frankie Boyle backlash really).

Add to that the Man Draw one as well.

First saw him on Mock the Week and thought he was a smug ****, but then saw him doing a proper stand up routine instead of trying to cram something funny into a quick comment. The bloke is ridiculously funny.

Bought the Frankie Boyle DVD and he is in fact cack.

exactly how i felt really, his stand-up is excellent. Yeah Frankie Boyle's DVD is terrible if you watched him on TV, completely recycled. I like Frankie Boyle on MTW/YHBW because he's very quick.

I have to say, I was so shocked at seeing a posh comedian with such a plummy voice, I almost choked on my pheasant.

Comics should be scouse, like all the true greats - Tarby, Freddie Starr.

One Frankie Boyle joke that made me chuckle though - Yes there is a vegetarian option, you can **** off.

He's ok , prefer frankie Boyle , although having been a virgin stand up comic watcher , after watching Eddie Murphy - delirious i suppose evrything is downhill after that . With out doubt the best 1 hrs worth of stand up IMO , superb , and to think it was way back in the early 80's makes it even better .

Tickets went on sale about a month and a half ago. It was probably announced the same day, and the tickets sold quickly, but luckily I know someone in the box office.
