If Campbell has the potential to be a good manager why did it take him so long to get a job . The same thought bugged me about Powell.

Because he didn't bother working his way up with coaching roles first, he just tried to jump into management straight away.

If that is correct he has wasted years of a potential career. It doesn’t add up to me surely some club would have taken a chance with him . More than meets the eye I can’t help thinking.

Have also heard the rumour from the players, and I believe that the reason for the delay is down to Millwall getting their ducks in a row, as a previous poster mentioned. AB this week would be my guess.

He was but that happened a month before Macclesfield signed him, prior to that he briefly coached at Trinidad and Tobago but that was his only other experience.
