England 67 all out.
England have a master plan, we are luring them into a false sense of security,
How about Curran and Jimmy in and drop Woakes and Buttler, any ideas on an opener anybody?Astonishing innings from Stokes and one which will be revisited for the next 30 years at least. Have to feel a bit for Lyon as he had Stokes caught on back leg knocking middle stump out but the one consistent has been the umpiring and true to form the biggest decision of the match is called incorrectly and a few balls later England have a famous win.
Australia played better over the course of the match and still lost which gives England all the momentum going to Manchester, I just hope they look at this in the cold light of day and realise they really should be out of the Ashes but for Stokes heroics.
Roy hasn't contributed in six innings now, Buttler hardly and Woakes looks totally ineffective unless there is sideways movement - it's those three I would be looking to replace.
How about a few comments on the plumb LBW not given by that useless West Indian umpire,if that wasnt plumb then Lbw should be outlawed,And capt paine needs to let someone else do the reviews.Hes useless.
Grapes are very sour this year,it was not LBW the Umpires decision is final if there is no referrals left, those are the rules Bruce. How about a few comments on the plumb LBW not given by that useless West Indian umpire,if that wasnt plumb then Lbw should be outlawed,And capt paine needs to let someone else do the reviews.Hes useless.

No sour Greapes at all i thought it was a tremendous fight back and a good game of cricket , just wondered why not one of you mentioned that LBW decision ,its because every single one off you knew it was plumb and you were lucky.WHy do you think i mentioned Tim Paine ,he is really not a captain, should never have the job.Grapes are very sour this year,it was not LBW the Umpires decision is final if there is no referrals left, those are the rules Bruce.

Many said that about one of England finest Mike Brearley as captain
Tim Paine would have been an hero if (a) The dropped catch in the deep had stuck (b) Lyons bottle had not gone and missed a stumping that Stevie Wonder would have made (c) The last review would have been done with bowler and not just him, he does not have angles, slow mo, three looks at the ball, its a one off and in the heat of the battle, can understand the review
