Firstly congratulations to The Tories and their overall majority. The people have spoken and the result is how it is. Some of the equations are quite frankly ridiculous though...The SNP with 1.5 million votes gaining 56 odd seats and UKIP with 4 million gaining 1 seat ...This way of voting has to be addressed in the future.
Labour were ambushed from both sides, they got what they deserved for sitting on a fence. It became a battle of personalities and Ed could never match DC.
You know I once was a staunch Tory. In my very successful time in life between about 25 to 40 I always loved them as money always seemed to slush about the economy with much more ease.. I would go as far as to say this result will actually profit me now with my business.
I have seen so many different styles of politics, I must say I hate the way now big business and the media seem to control the thoughts of others with propaganda and fear at every corner.
Labour haven't been Labour for years, just another page of the deep seated, lets just think about the money and how it effects me personally attitude of most today..This is not a knock at anybody, just stating a fact.
I changed my views on politics a few years back when I saw the suffering of so many at the hands of the rich...Lets face it austerity has only really affected one area of the people.
The world wide banking crisis which we as the people bailed out gave the tories an excuse to blame the previous incumbents for this, no matter that if the boot has been on the other foot they would of done the same.
In summary. I have probably seen my life through a number of elections, I am not really a person to judge any more...it is the life and future of much younger people than me...
You voted your choice and you all live with that. Once again well done The Tories, just please think of those less fortunate than yourselves in future.
