Tilly on BBC Essex after the game was asked about Gower's injury and said that it was minor and expects him to be fit for next Saturday.
Said the injury was nothing to do with the problems that Gower had last season.

Weren't his problems last year that he simply wasn't physically fit enough?!?
My missus was sitting next to the dugout and Gowere said that his back was killing him. Would guess its the same problem as last year

Reading the Echo last week it seemed that Gower had found out the reason his back was playing up, it was because he has one leg slightly shorter than the other, which meant when he was running it was putting added pressure on his back.

But the solution he said was to wear a thick innersole in his boot of the shorter leg there for easing the pressure on his back.

So hopefully he will be back in time for saturday because he looked like he was getting back to his best on sat, which is great as an in form Gower is and will be a valuable player in this league.
