Im not sure Maher gives a negative vibe and the way he holds up the ball and gets us playing is something I lke about him.

However thats not to say having the drive of McCormack and Bailey isnt a better option. If McCormacks passing was better that would be even better.

We will have to see how it goes going forward as a game against Crewe isnt really one to use as a benchmark, Carlisle at home is a bigger test.

That's why i'm not sure that Hunty's performance was made to look better than it was by a very poor Crewe attack, they reminded me of a Tuesday afternoon team down at the reserves!
