Tara Brady has resigned as Chief Executive of Southend United.

Just when the Club gets the green light to build the new stadium.

Can't be something funny going on could there?

Where did you get that information from? Surely he'd have a straightner with one of his co-directors before resigning?

The other thread has a Twitter post from Chris Phillips saying someone big is leaving the club. I believe you.

Are we buggered?

Is this why Luggy wanted a rolling contract? So it would be easier for him to walk out should Tara have gone, which he has, and in case Ron starts messing him around?. One things for sure if Ron does Luggy won't put up with it like Tilly did.

Nothing anywhere on the interweb. With all due respect, I'll wait to hear that confirmed before believing it.

Blimey, that's a shock, especially after all the good work done in the transfer window. It's certainly worrying, especially as Ron owes him money doesn't he? Will he become a creditor? Really don't fancy Ron being back in charge of the pursestrings.

I wonder if the reports of the stadium getting the green light has the most to do with it, Tara going where his money is?. Ron on BBC Essex this morning according to twitter

Yeah they mentioned that on BBC Essex last night, 8.40am I think, just as I'm on my way to work.

For me Tara is one of the more trustworthy of businessmen in the most part and feel he was the one holding most things and everyone together. Now he's gone and if Ron is left in sole charge for a lengthy period I fear things will begin to fray slightly at the edges again.

Fray at the edges?!?!? I would prefer my mum in charge and she knows nothing about business or football.
