Can't we run a poll to vote on what to do with these sub-humans? Then hand the results to SK. Ban for 6 games, then if no improvement 12, then a full season, then a life ban - that would be my choice since hanging, drawing and quartering is now unlawful.

Great idea though its a shame we cant hang, draw and quarter them. Could be part of the half time entertainment might add a few thousand to the crowd.

"Win Your Own Height in Someone's Bodily Parts".

What a half time challenge that would be !

Its not rocket science is it. a plain clothed steward sits close to them to observe. If he doesn't like what he hears dependant on how bad it is he phoned for reinforcements immediately or at half time and they are spoken to and are told what is/is not acceptable and that they will be banned if it continues.

Alternatively or additionally put a piece in the programme about acceptable procedure AND sellotape a notice to all of the seats in that section including a number to call/text to complain.

Not only does something needs to be done- it needs to be seen that the club is taking action and for fans to know that it is worth complaining

I see why these two prats need to go but if I could play devils advocate for a moment if they have paid are they not entitled to express their view?

No. Freedom of Speech is not something that should be abused.

What some simply don't get is that if players don't enjoy coming to work because they get abused by the people who support them then they wont perform and will eventually want to leave.

Just report them to the club and have done with it.

This.

In addition, when you buy a ticket, you're pretty much paying for an afternoon that you expect to get some enjoyment out of. Obviously a team's performance can hamper this and it's in the interest of the club to do all it can to keep performances high so as to effectively improve customer satisfaction. Similarly, this pair are devaluing the experience for others, and so it should be in the club's interests to do something about it.

Swearing is regrettably part and parcel of football and I am not innocent either. Players are audibly heard to swear. Thats the frustration/elation/passion and the same goes for the fans.

Swearing is not acceptable when it is directed at an individual, particularly when it accompanies intimidation. As far as I am aware the club have been informed of the actions of this pair of undesirables and have yet to deal with the matter.

Yesterdays altercation with a man and his young son should be dealt with by the police and in my book I would have no care if these bullies were banned from football for life.

It is difficult enough to encourage the fans to come in sufficient numbers to live lower league football and I salute the club for the £5 initiative of yesterday. Its sad that it has to be tarnished by idiots that in no circumstances can be described as fans.

I’m sure that if Southend United knew that elements of its supporters base were going to report an incident of bullying, aggravation, even ANTI SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR, to the police, then SUFC would rather of sorted the problem out "in house" as it were.

So maybe put it to SUFC, that if they do not sort the problem of ANTI SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR towards players and supporters themselves, then they will have no alternative but to report the matter to the police themselves.

The club would not like this, and would take action with a matter of urgency.

Snr.

The club are completely aware and are monitoring the situation but I am sure they cannot have someone watching these 2 all match , every match.

Maybe someone can come up with an appropriate chant that refers to these individuals and we can all have a merry sing song about them

Why not? If they are that bad (and I don't know because I don't sit there), get a steward or preferably a plain clothes police officer to watch them. First hint of bad behaviour or inappropriate language and they can be ejected or arrested depending on the circumstances. It seems to me that they are at the very least using insulting or threatening behaviour or likely to cause a breach of the peace. The club must know who they have allocated the seats to, so it won't be hard to have their backgrounds checked. I suggest everyone complains to the club who has heard or seen their behaviour. The more complaints they receive, the more likely they are to act upon them.

This has gone on for to long imho the club should have taken harsh action by now with a lifetime ban at home and away, do they not see that these numb nuts are driveing true fans away from games, as for half time attractions how about feeding these two scroats to the Lions or is that not legal any more.

New low for these 2
These evil 2 have strangely spent the last 3 home games very quite but today was a new low
The first half was spent swearing and abusing Cor, but 2 minutes before half time a young dad and son aged about 5 going to their first ever match had to walk past them to take the young lad to the toilet, the dad accidently stood on the one of the mad pairs toes and was met with what i can only discribe as vile abuse. the dad was told to " F!!!ing watch where you are going" the shocked dad replied with "Pardon" and was met with "Yes F!!! off you f!!!ing w!!!er" will the dad take his son again i doubt it. For gods sake get these 2 out of our club.

Did laugh at the end as usual the 2 left early as usual missed the great late goal

How about we remind everyone of their seat numbers + the whole south bank can take it in turns to walk past them + tread on their toes whilst pouring scolding hot coffee / bovril / tomato soup onto their ugly faces ....

with a bit of luck they 'll finally get the message that instead of THEM driving our real fans out the club , us real fans can drive THEM out of the club for good. Maybe the club can allow the other stands to transfer into the south bank at half time for this particular thug bashing event.
