Col u just been called off! Surely ours is close to be called off! The pitch can't take much more rain

Dagenham & Redbridge ‏@Dag_RedFC 8m
The pitch is currently in a good condition ahead of tonight's visit of Southend United.

Dont look a lot wrong with that !

its gonna be well messy tonight, I see a red card also, that's if it aint called off last minute.

That pitch is brilliant considering the conditions in the past few days. Kudos to Daggers.

For the game to be abandoned, the referee (who is the only man who can abandon the game) must be involved in a conspiracy with Daggers to defraud. Do you really want to go there?
I was being cynical. It is only you Yarmouth introducing the word fraud, silly boy. There is always pressure for games to go ahead as clubs need the cash through turnstile payments. There have been numerous matches abandoned, after starting, that should never have started. In these cases fans are not refunded anything.
Credit to Dagenham for the work they did for that pitch to be playable last night and for both sets of players in playing a good match. The referee missed our penalty claim but added to the type of match we got. Praise also to all the Southend fans who attended on a foul night.
