For any podcast listeners Mark Gower is the special guest on Hanging Up The Boots Podcast with Danny Gabbidon, Sam Parkin and Rhys Weston.

Also the week before they had Ben Coker on who was excellent! Haven't listened to the Gower one yet but will let you know if it's any good after a listen.

Does Mark still live locally? I'm almost sure I saw him in Basildon today, but not sure enough to stop and say hello. His put on a bit of weight in retirement if it was...

He does, the Echo did an article about Gower and Eastwood's sons playing for the academy. Would make a lot of sense if he was living local.
