* Bonding is very important for the players, wins bond players
* Players had a traumatic month, with the whole pre-contract thing and all the off field stuff, then a tough start.
* Near a settled team now, everyone getting to grips with their roles and subs working well
* Doesnt know why Grant doesnt shoot more - used more as a defensive midfielder before at Southend, but PS feels he is better suited going forward and getting involved.
* Grant has been through the 'good the bad and the ugly' at SUFC, PS hopeful he can carry on his form.
* Clohessey - is annoyed with him due to the first silly booking.
* Happy with the win to get us away from the bottom as it was looking bad.
* No changes for the JPT match - wants this team to learn more about each other. (Makes good sense to me and Tilly used to do exactly the same).

Good stuff!

Don't want to read too much more into what PS said about Grant but did seem to give the impression (hope?) that he would be staying. He said that Grant has been very professional and whilst most of his old team mates left he wanted to hang around to see how the situation panned out. Repeated that he enjoys playing his football................let's all hope that the way PS is using him at the moment will entice him to stay.........at least for a while longer. Perhaps staying with us and getting regular football in League Two will make his profile even more important and may not be a bad choice in terms of his career.

Grant said he still talks to a lot of the old players and they are 'doing really well' - just hope he doesnt have his head turned!

Hope he stays too!

Grant obviously likes being a 'big fish'.
I just hope he carries on being one. He stands out massively.
Staying with us and upping his profile even more will be beneficial to his career, and is exactly what every other single player that plays well for a while and moves on to a big club, should do.
Moving too quickly turns out badly a lot of the time.

Maybe his experience of being a 'little fish' at Chelsea (which many of the players who left in the summer have not had) has helped him realise that being at a bigger club is not always as great as people make it out to be.

I can hear the sighs of Lee Sawyer's fans from out here in West Cornwall (especially as I am one) ...

Cheers for the round up, seeing as the OS themselves didn't want us to know what he said unless we were paying for the player service...........
